Very tasty Chana curry made with Kabulu chana or white chana. This is made without using onion or garlic. The recipe includes preparation of the magic powder that can be used to make gravy in any curry, to eat with chapathi or roti, when we cannot use onion.
This curry goes really well with Maida puri in particular and roti, chapathi, puri, plain parata in general.
Here are the ingredients required for this curry.
Pachi Senagapappu 100 gm
Sai Minapappu 50 gm
Dried red chilli 12 to 15, Depending on the spice you like
Dhaniyalu 1 Tbsp
Jeera 1 Tbsp
Rice 1 Tbsp
Ajwain/ Vaamu 1 Tbsp
Water As Required
Tomato Paste 2 Medium sized tomatoes
Jeera 1 Tsp
Kabulu Chana 100 gm
Ginger paste 1 Tbsp
Ghee or Oil 1 Tbsp
