NEW ISSUE!

We’re back at it again! For this release we are honored to showcase one of our favorite poets, Londyn Rayne. She has been a perennial contributor of Storyteller over the years, and has definitely helped shape what Storyteller is.

We also have many other pieces of poetry and fiction from eight other talented authors we hope you will enjoy.

All of our gratitude goes out as usual to Jeannie Albers for capturing some truly incredible shots of Londyn in downtown Winter Garden. And also, special thanks to Axum Coffee for allowing us to use their beautiful space for that fabulous cover shot.

Don’t let the squinty eyes fool you, this one sees things more clearly than most. Intelligent and independent, she is unencumbered by convention, unabashed in what she believes to be good and right, despite how differently others (sometimes including the surrounding majority) may feel. She is also loyal and compassionate, a stalwart friend to those around her.

Two years ago, I started the project that would become Storyteller. It was an old idea, one I’d back-burnered for too long. As with all big ideas, this one kept knocking at my door until I finally decided to answer the call. When I almost had the first issue ready, Lydia generously lent her editing skills to help polish things up a bit. I realized right away how important her contributions were to the final product and asked her to join me formally as the publication’s editor. We are now five issues in and her impact to and influence in the growth and success of Storyteller has been significant. Beyond her trained eye for good punctuation and grammar, Lydia has a keen talent for bringing forth the best out of each submitted piece, helping to sharpen the voice of each contributor and ensuring their work is the best version of itself.

I am fortunate to have her along on this journey with me, and even luckier to call her friend.
