La canzone è caratterizzata da un sound molto vicino al latino americano (seppur sempre rock), soprattutto per quanto riguarda il riff di chitarra di Josh Klinghoffer e per la parte della batteria molto ritmica, inoltre è possibile udire un breve ma fantastico assolo di tromba nella parte intermedia della canzone. Nel 2004, il regista Bran Anderson, lancia sui grandi schermi il film "L'uomo senza sonno" con Christian Bale nel ruolo di Trevor Reznik. Il nome di quest'ultimo, protagonista del film, è dovuto al fatto che il regista statunitense è grande fan di Trent Reznor e dei NIN stessi, dichiarando di essersi ispirato al suo modo di vedere il mondo e la società per scrivere la sceneggiatura del film.
