On July 20th, 2019, I will start my seventy-second trip around the Sun. My birthday gift to myself, apart from giving up the cigs, is to put a sharp wooden stake into the heart of my little corner of Facebook - even my music pages. Mr. Zuckerberg can kiss my ass whilst riding a tricycle. On that day, all will be deleted.

(Early Monday Morning, CET time zone. Memorial Day, 2019)

I wrote and recorded this song a LONG time ago. As you can tell, I was still using a coal powered video maker and yes, the photos were stolen. The 1st version of this song fetched close to 100 thousand views on youtube, but about 10 years ago, I was moved to make a couple lyric adjustments - made it better; however, it necessitated re-recording of the whole thing…used the same pilfered photos though. I know, I know.

One point in making this ¨video, was to present a demo that SOMEBODY in Nash Vegas, hopfullly with a better voice, would see, listen, and record it. Zilch, so far.

The second, and most important point, was to try and do my best, with the only way I know how, in honoring the men and women, on this day, who voluntarily fastened themselves to the Sharp End for all of us. So very many of them didn’t return and, we must NEVER forget.

So, if you will, please pass it on - hit those like buttoney thingys and Share where and how you see fit. Maybe it’ll get out there.

A Music Supervisor contacted me for a "Military Themed" film cue. Somewhere on the West Coast, this song resides on a shortlist.
