YES, this is real! 🫣 A large, male Komodo Dragon.
❓Did you know Komodo National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site?
🦎 Komodo dragons are the world’s largest lizard. They are carnivorous predators and can grow up to 10 feet (3 meters) in length.
☠️ These powerful creatures have a venomous bite.
🤔 It turns out some dragons are more wild than others. At Komodo Island, it is likely that the locals leave food for the dragons to keep them close and bring in tourists. On other islands, such as Rinca, we were able to see some truly wild dragons and aggressive behavior.
