Precocious little Patience Boyd nearly died three years ago when a gunman’s random bullet tore through her head on a Bronx street. Her prognosis was dire, and her mom, Lisandra Garcia, was devastated.

Chick-fil-A gives free food to motorists stranded in Southern snowstorm

“We just wanted to be able to help,” Audrey said. “Yesterday was such a hopeless situation. We wanted to do something to make people feel a little bit better. We were here. We had food and there were people outside who needed food. So it just made sense to do something for them.”

In Birmingham, Alabama, during a Southern snowstorm, stranded motorists were able to find shelter in the storm thanks to the kindness and generosity of a Chick-fil-A restaurant owned by Mark Meadows.
