soooOoOo idk about you but i’m far past over-saturated with the makeup market right now. everything is a copy of a copy is a half-assed launch. very rarely does a launch excite me to the point where i’m literally counting down the days anymore.

♡ i realized while doing this look that i never do purple shadows on their own, and it’s because for some reason with purple shadows/pigments, it’s either a 10/10 on blendability and consistency or a complete failure. BUT saved the purple reputation & released a purple palette that finally delivers and is easily worked with for a seasoned mua or a beginner. out of the mini palette bundle, the violets and the berries are probably my favs but because i have no self control i may or may not have bought the whole bundle and rationalized it in my mind later.
and ya know, mini palettes are cute and s**t 💅🏼

if you’ve been around for a while you know my relationship with stick foundations is usually 50/50. either it’s creamy, full-coverage, can have products layered & is easily blended, or it’s mad drying, clings to every blemish and somehow dries down before you’ve even blended one side of your face. why this is, ~the world may never know~ but one foundation i have tried out and love is new full-coverage(actually) stick foundation; mine is in shade nicaragua 💫

since i’m a mom, when i leave the house 9 times out of 10 i have to grab my “mom” bag(if you’re a mom you already know). and while it’s great for that specific purpose, what always sucked for me personally is that 1- my mom bags were never particularly cute, multi-use or transitional from day to night. they did the job and that was about that. 2- if i wanted to go out or to an event that night, i had to switch bags so i wasn’t walking around the club with my dr. seuss-themed diaper bag looking like a fool.
