Due to annoying circumstances, namely that it's really hard to upload videos regularly when your new location doesn't have internet yet, Unlife weekly releases are going to stay on hiatus a little longer than I thought.

But that means plenty of extra time for filming new projects, so if you're in a band and in need of a music video, hit us up and let's make something happen!

BirdWatcher - "Dead Talk" (Live)

Spoiler: Today's video is an old one featuring Bird Watcher performing "Dead Talk", and I'm gone for three weeks.

Turns out that I'm leaving today for a pre-planned vacation that snuck up on me, so I've decided to dedicate the normal release slots for the next three weeks to bringing a little extra attention to older projects and footage released during the hiatus and never given a true home on Unlife. Hopefully you don't mind the throwbacks as a way to keep the videos coming while I take a much-needed sanity break, and maybe you'll see some stuff you missed before!

Anyway, here's the important part. Bird Watcher is a band that I've enjoyed watching grow over the years from a solo project by Aaron Peat into a full-fledged band, and their latest album Old Science is the best kind of heartbreaking. Dead Pilots - "Slaves" [LIVE]

Today's second release is a little bit of a fun throwback for me. While Unlife was on hiatus and I was transitioning into doing video work and rebooting Unlife Productions, I spent plenty of those two years practicing shooting without a place to show off releases. This is one of those videos from last year. Also one of the very first bands I ever shot live at the beginning of my photography career, here is Dead Pilots tearing up a performance of the song "Slaves"!

Listener - "You Have Never Lived Because You Have Never Died" [LIVE]

The spoken word rock band that first got me into spoken word rock bands, listener actually used to be a hip hop solo project for frontman Dan Smith before slowly evolving into the rock band it is today. The Homeless Gospel Choir - "Crazy" [LIVE]
