This project is a community-driven initiative, aimed at enhancing our recreational complex and creating more opportunities for physical activity for both youth and adults.

Dek Hockey is a variation of ice hockey played with a ball, either on foot or with inline skates.

Our official opening day is coming soon!

On a local or district level, private schools like Kennedy Catholic may have an advantage. That advantage gets thrown out at the state level because a public school could go into a matchup against a private school with fears of losing, yet somehow win when all is said and done.

If you read the headline to this article and immediately thought to yourself, “It’s not fair public football schools have to compete against private football schools” you are a public school apologist who is perpetuating a myth. While you are entitled to your opinion your statement is baseless...

Professor Ryan Briggs is back for the 2023 high school football season as he previews the games for week one!

The 2023 high school football season begins Friday night and Saturday throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. All 12 Mercer County area teams will be in action as 11 games comprise the opening weekend schedule.

Most Valuable Player: Nate Banick, Family Life Falcons (led team and league in home runs despite playing on the losing team in the tournament final)
Rookie of the Year: Noah Greenburg, Grace Chapel Reds (led his team, an expansion team, to a third place finish on Super Saturday)
Unsung Hero Award: Olivia Lapikas, Clenbanon Raiders (quietly made a key contribution to an improvement in her team’s performance despite never getting the credit that was deserved)
Humanitarian Award: Jim Bombeck, Covenant Speed/Power (for his off-field work with the Shenango Valley Good Samaritans group on Facebook)
