I’ve known I wanted to work in pediatrics since I was little. Nurses are on the front line and they are the backbone of the medical industry. Nurses who specialize in pediatrics devote their knowledge and skills to caring for children from infancy through their late teen years and their families. Being a child going from hospital to hospital getting poked and prodded by strangers is terrifying, but I specifically remember how kind and gentle the nurses were. This is why I want to go into pediatrics, I want to be able to comfort the children and make them feel safe just like my nurses did for me. Pediatric nurses also spend a significant amount of time educating the family about how to care for and protect their children’s health. I know my parents had several scares throughout my childhood, and I can confidently say that without the nurses, they would not have made it through the tough times.

Hey everyone! I am Anna Morey, and I am so excited to announce that I am your new Miss Greater Columbus’ Teen 2024! I have been blessed with to opportunity to go back to Miss Georgia in June, and I could not be more ecstatic!
