There’s something for everyone to do, whether it’s passing out food, cleaning up, keeping coffee and water coming for the volunteers, cleaning up, packing items, handing out paper work, we can use your help. Come and help us support our community and families in need!

Be safe out there everyone ❄️

Big change in the weather today. The large east coast storm will quickly move through the New England states today. A deep and cold upper level low will dive down from the western Great Lakes, crossing the region late this afternoon and during the evening. The upper low will bring much colder air, gusty winds and snow showers. The arctic air will destabilize the atmosphere, so there is a threat for snow squalls this afternoon and evening as well. Most of the region can expect 1 to 3 inches. However, the I-80 corridor could see a wide range of accumulations (2-6 inches) due to the threat of squalls and lake effect snow bands. If a persistent band develops higher snow totals are possible. The heaviest snow is anticipated over the ridges of northern WV and southwest PA. 6 to 12 inches of snow is possible in these locations by Tuesday afternoon. So with accumulating snow and gusty winds, blowing snow could also be a problem, particularly in the areas that see the most snow. If you will be traveling today be prepared for winter conditions and remember snow squalls can cause rapid changes in conditions. One minute you are driving in a snow free area then suddenly the visibilities drop to less than a quarter of a mile in heavy snow with strong winds and falling temperatures.
