Welcome back to staff spotlights! Today we have Jordan Hamzee (she/ her). Jordan is a junior journalism and media communications major with a minor in English creative writing. This year Jordan is our social media communications manager and web editor. Jordan joined Quiz and Quill to help Otterbein students put their creative voices out into the world.

Last, but by no means least, meet Jeremy Llorence (he/him), Quiz & Quill’s faculty advisor! Jeremy says the best part about being Quiz & Quill’s faculty advisor is “watching students rise up through the organization and take on leadership roles. Granted, this is only my second year as advisor, but my point stands. Working with this Ed Board has been incredibly rewarding, even with all the chaos of 2020. QQ really sticks together as a reliable constant, a community of readers and writers who always make time for this work and who have fun doing it. For this reason, it's no surprise QQ has existed at Otterbein for over 100 years. And believe me, we're not stopping anytime soon!” More about Jeremy: one of his favorite books is Homecoming by Yaa Gyasi, he recently got married (a note from Jeremy: I mention that not as a brag (though I will brag about my wife to anyone who will listen), but because QQ helped me celebrate!), he has two cats, enjoys baking and making noise on his bass and drum set, and he has three tattoos, all of which are inspired by Tekkonkinkreet, a comic series by Taiyou Matsumoto.
