I knew this was coming, but doesn't make it any less of a gut punch. Lisa M. DeHaven has lost her battle with cancer at the age of 65. On top of being a cult icon, she was one of the strongest yet kindest souls this world will ever know. Rest in peace, queen. 🙏

Some may have already heard the news, but we are absolutely beside ourselves to announce that Lisa M. DeHaven has joined the cast of Nasty in the role of Nate's mother! Lisa's best known for her work in the shot-on-video cult classic REDNECK ZOMBIES (1989), released by Troma Entertainment. A veteran of the Maryland Renaissance Festival as a director, teacher and performer from 1988-1996, she's also made brief appearances in John Waters' original HAIRSPRAY (1988) as well as the comedy-thriller HER ALIBI (1989) starring Tom Selleck. She later worked for Michael Burnett Productions, Inc. where she coordinated and/or assisted on such projects as Dee Snider's STRANGELAND (1998), BABY GENIUSES (1999), NOT ANOTHER TEEN MOVIE (2001) and CREATURE UNKNOWN (2004, directed by Burnett). We're thrilled for fans to see her again and to share more details as they come.

Adan Gonzales is a filmmaker, editor and comedian from Texas. In addition to his appearances in SCUM (2010) and Vanilla Ice's BABY GOT BUNS video (2021), he also edited, produced and directed the award-winning documentary, FOREVER: THE UNTOLD STORY OF ROCK N' ROLL HIGH SCHOOL FOREVER in 2020. Having recently edited Jake Perry's COREY FELDMAN, ARTIST: THE MAN BEHIND THE LOVE (2022), you can also catch him on his YouTube channel (Staunch TV) where he reviews movies, music and other nostalgic oddities. We're excited for folks to see his bit in the flick later this year. 📺
