Since u been single what have you learned about yourself since being single. What lesson was taught after your breakup. Is there anything u would do differently to make sure your next relationship doesn't go bad?

Since I've been single, one thing I've learned alot of DIY ( do it yourself ). Since I've been 19, I've always been in long relationships (3). So I have always had someone there to help me do things. Its exciting to know that I'm able to do more things by myself than i have myself credit for.
My lesson learned to stop trying to fix someone u didn't break. For along time i poured most of my energy into always supporting the person i was with. Thinking as long as he's good, I'll be good. Not everyone can reciprocate that same energy as u did.
What i would do differently is give myself and my next relationship more time and patience. I would pay more attention and be vocal able things I see that could be problematic later do the road, make sure we are on the same page on our relationship goals. And if they are different, I wouldn't try to make them fit, it we aren't on the same path.
