For the first chapter of our free download series we have a collab between Vanucci and our own Bernardo Campos.

They teamed up and delivered a version of Layo and Bushwacka hit "Love Story”, one of the most iconic dance music of all time, using samples of Nina Simone and Devo. ❤️

Vanucci and Bernardo delivered a sick garage, 2-step version that is already supported by Hot Since 82 amongst other DJs.

If you don't know who this guy is, well... you should!

DJ Maurício Lopes was and will always be one of our biggest references in electronic music. Watching him play was a privilege. Sometimes we didn't even dance, it was like watching a master doing his art.

In this pic he is playing on Dr. Smith's bathroom floor, one of the first underground clubs in Rio de Janeiro and Brazil.

With releases in labels like Mood Funk Records, Wired, Get Physical/ Cocada and support by world renowned DJs like Ame, Riva Starr, Groove Armada, Richard Dorfmeister on his solo releases and also his stellar Nu Azeite project.

He is also resident DJ in the party RARA, constantly doing warm ups and closings for people like Laurent Garnier, Derrick Carter and Moodymann.

In this EP he takes us on a journey through house, minimal and chicago all at the same time.

The main track "MARAPENDI" is a groove avalanche, with little things happening all through the song and a nasty groove dictating the rhythm.

The b-side "LUCKIEST MAN ALIVE" (video) could've easily been an a-side as well.
