It’s family photo season!!

My #1 family photo tip - unless it’s really your goal - don’t be too matchy matchy. Having everyone wear the same piece or color just lacks personality and is quite honestly, BORING.

Instead, pick a color scheme (at least 2 or 3), and use that as your theme. Don’t be shy to use different tonal variations of the colors you selected. If brown is one of your colors - you can use different shades of tan, caramel, etc.

More tips (just because)
- layer up - looks more stylish
- add an element of luxe - a textured coat, scarf, velvet, leather, I seem to like faux fur 🤣. Swipe ➡️ to see our looks through the years.
- have your pictures done earlier in the day so the kids are still in a good mood.

Incase you are itching to add something new to your closet - make sure they are timeless pieces. Don’t waste your money on trends. I honestly don’t shop much because I use the same pieces every single year. I just add a few trendy pieces each season to spice it up but in general you know I push for staple items.

SOMETIMES I QUESTION MY PLACE ON THIS EARTH.

What value do I bring? Am I enough? Am I too much?

Every single day I work more and more on self love, trusting in my worth, and believing in the gifts I provide.

One of my favorite writers wrote a beautiful excerpt on self love:

“Be brave enough to take off the masks you wear out there and get to know who you are underneath. Be vulnerable enough to accept your flaws and know that they are what make you human; they are what make you real. Be confident enough to accept and cherish your strengths. Don’t minimize them or hide them...They are your beautiful gifts to share with the world. Be brave enough to say, you know what, all of this is who I am. I make so many mistakes. I can be forgetful, I am messy. But...
I am doing my best with what I’ve got. And I am so proud of that. I am so proud of me. And I am proud of who I am becoming.”

It’s their exhibit where they have 5 different activations for you to enjoy and capture some creative, memorable moments.

It’s open to the public from April 15-June 6 at the Garden State Plaza in Paramus. But get your tickets now since you know these pop-ups get really popular and sell out quickly.

Alessa and I had a preview and we really enjoyed playing around with these gorgeous vignettes. 🌸

Major cabin fever this week, you guys. Wil’s been working overtime so it feels like a LONG week with the kids and their virtual learning.

I’m honestly itching to getaway. This beautiful view is in the Amalfi Coast in a Italy. We spent a few weeks there with the kids a few years back and nothing beats these breathtaking views.

Today’s - I’m all about outfits with gym leggings. Anyone else?? 🙋🏻‍♀️

It’s stylish and comfy and sooo easy to recreate.

- oversized knit jacket- adds the perfect texture and warmth - this is from
- underneath is a tissue thin turtleneck but any thin knit top will do. (Keep it thin so you don’t look so bulky)
- leggings are literally the same ones I use for the gym. My go to brand is
- booties - combat/edgy boots are hot this season. Mine are a few years back from but any chunky boot will do.

Last selfie of 2020 - the year of change, growth, and healing.

Earlier this year, I experienced one of the biggest losses of my life. Nothing prepares you for the pain you feel in your heart when you lose a parent. But through that pain, you heal. You grow. You gain strength and you realize, life goes on.

I know these little squares make it look like life is easy but it’s not. Some days were harder than others. Despite that, I carry my father’s love in my heart. And everyday I commit to doing my best, even if that just means getting out of bed.

Every day that you get up and commit to doing your best, you learn to trust in yourself. Your self integrity and belief in your worth grows. This is what healing is about. Learning who you are and trusting in the greatness that you are meant to be.

❤️ So my wish for all of us in 2021 is that we commit every single day to doing our best and commit to living our most beautiful life we can envision for ourselves.
