In a vacation, 'vacating' a place is obvious to everyone but it is actually vacating the mind from sorrows and accomplishments of the past; and vacating the mind of anxieties and excitements of the future. Nothing remains except the joy and magic of the current moment.
We all can be on eternal vacation if we can learn to live in the present with mindfulness and be grateful of the place, people and things around us!!!
Past if remembered, forgive it or thank it. Future if anticipated, hope for good things. That is the only use of past and future.
God designed us to be happy consistently but usually we base our happiness upon the external circumstances. You can not wait impatiently for your circumstances to change before you become happy. You have to be happy now. Remember, ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐. And when you make a choice to be happy in each of your moments, you will experience that your circumstances wonderfully change to match that choice. It is easier said than done when you encounter difficult situations but happiness becomes your habit when you live with these three pillars of positivity-

๐ - Usually we take our life and its blessings for granted. Some people go on with their life always seeing negative, complaining, and blaming. They need to remember there are many people in this world who would like to switch place with them happily. In worst situation, one can be grateful for being alive. When we are grateful for what we have, God gives us more of what we want. This is THE magic, and it can only be experienced by yourself, not explained by anyone.

It is difficult to remain in present moment during hardships or trials, but remember present moment is what contains the solution to all problems. Present moment is a healer. Try to remain as much as you can in present moment with mindfulness, accept it and see it wonderfully change your circumstances for the better.

One can greatly move forward in living an abundant, meaningful and joyful life if one can realize the complementary relationship between seemingly opposite things-
-Contentment creates the fertile ground on which growth occurs and without experiencing growth, contentment will not develop.
-Your life is your creation and self-effort is important part of it. But surrender to almighty makes you more powerful and active for self-effort. And without putting in effort, attitude of surrender will not develop.
When drowning in a current of water, most likely response somone has is to resist the water flow and try to rescue himself. But when initial attempts of resistance do not work you have to let go with the flow. Then you will find avenues to escape.
Our lifeโs problems are like that. You have to discover your break even point when resistance can not work anymore. Because more you resist, problem persists. But going with the flow is not easy and it becomes easier when you can count blessings in your current situation and then keep faith that higher power has better things or experiences for you in store. You have to go through this experience to come out as better and stronger person. When HE can bring you to this, HE will bring you through this.
In the instance of drowning in current, you can choose to count your blessings that you are given hands, legs and eyes to flow with the water. The moment you do that you will be presented with more blessings to count such as a wooden log to hold on to. You may also realize that problem was not that big as you had thought or it was just a change in status quo and that caused discomfort.
Faith in higher helps you take actions which are uncomfortable and need courage. In lifeโs situation it could be having an uncomfortable talk with somone, taking calculated risk in business or making a move.
So have faith and count blessings, and your journey of life will be easier than expected.

On the occasion of Ram Navami, birthday of Lord Rama, lets celebrate the day by remembering and imbibing two values Rama symbolizes, as much as we can-
Rama was a true king. A king has lot to give and a beggar always asks. Rama's life teaches us that we are divine in nature - always complete. There is no loss to us when we act with unselfishness. Rama gave up his kingdom, his comforts, his relatives for fulfilling his father's promise to Kekayi, because he felt himself bigger than this limited material world. He had complete trust that there is no loss to him even if he is going to exile and live in forest. Instead he believed he is going to gain new experiences there. Rama's life teaches us that we should live our life with giving mindset and be ready to lose ourselves through our hard work, our time, our material belongings because there is no loss as such. But instead you assert your divinity with that mindset and you become what you assert - a true king - full of prosperity, health and purpose.
Rama saw divinity in others at the same time. When he learnt that Ravana took Sita to Lanka, he could have gotten help from his kingdom and other friendly kingdoms to bring Sita back. But Rama went with the life's flow to keep respect of his father's promise. He trusted that people he is coming across in his journey will help him sail through this situation. This was proved later on by Jatayu, a vulture giving him the first hand account of Ravana abducting Sita, shabri directing him towards monkey kingdom and finally all powerful Hanuman who helped him navigate the difficult terrain of oceans, mountains and defeating Rakshashas. All this may have not been possible, had Rama taken help from other kingdoms. Rama's life teaches us that we should consider people around us as divine as us. Believe in your relatives, neighbors, colleagues, bosses and they will help you navigate the difficult terrains of life. Take help from them as needed as they are the divine in action around you. Hanuman lives in each one of them and can come to your rescue as needed but only if you believe in them.

Vacation starts when you 'vacate'.
Vacating the place is apparent to everyone but it is actually, vacating the mind of memories filled with regrets or accomplishments; and imagination filled with anxieties or excitements. Nothing remains but the joy and magic of the current moment. Simple things seem mesmerizing.
We can be on an 'eternal vacation' if we can learn to be mindful of the present and grateful of the present things, place and people around.
Prayers get answered all the time. Usually we do not stay in a stage to notice those answers due to continous chatter in the mind. Those answers lie in the tv show you have watched, in the words of the friend you talked to, in the book you have read.
Stillness is needed to notice.
Live mindfully and have faith in the lord, stillness will follow.

The road to perfection is inside out not outside in
One practice which can dramatically improve the quality of life is the practice of gratitude.
It helps develop contentment which means you will be happy and in peace with what you have, what you do and what you are.
That naturally leads to misconception that contentment will stop your growth in life and you will stop striving for what more life has to offer. But in truth without contentment there is no real growth.
Our mind is designed to be a growth machine...it will occupy the current place and look for more... be it job, status, house, money etc. No body is going to stop your growth mindset. But without contentment that growth mindset will lead to too much striving, too much effort and continuous shift from one desire to another. In fact your desires may not even be your own desires...they may be borrowed or influenced from others. Contentment creates fertile soil of possibilities for right desires to arise and effortless fulfillment of those desires. So with contentment growth will occur naturally but with feelings of peace and joy in every moment.
So choose contentment over growth and life you really really want deep inside your heart will follow!!!

I am hereby trying to provide ๐๐ฆ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ on the subject. This understanding is helping me live my life with ๐๐๐๐๐๐ก๐ฆ and โ๐๐๐ and I hope it does the same for you in the midst of fear and confusion existing today.
I think everyone agrees that only way to end any pandemic is to ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐.

Because pandemics survive by infecting more people in shortest span of time
--> thereby putting extraordinary burden on health care system (more people seek healthcare at the same time but resources will always be limited...we have seen the greatest healthcare systems coming down to their knees when pandemic started)
--> thereby creating collective psyche of fear โ fear of limited medicines, limited doctors, limited hospital beds and limited equipment
--> and that fear puts further load on medical resources as people hoard medicines, equipment unnecessarily. On top of that some patients seek beds and ICU because of the worsening conditions due to fear and many more abuse medicines out of fear and lack of proper information. Fear further contributes to death toll. It is dangerous chain reaction exacerbated by fear.
Vaccines given to large population in shorted time span breaks this chain as virus doesnโt find a host to survive and mutate.
And good thing is vaccines are already there...this was the fastest vaccine development effort by man in the history of pandemics.
But it takes time before vaccine reaches every home. Till then we have ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ to control the pandemic -
โ ๐ฉ๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ unless it is absolutely necessary to go out so you do not contribute to crowd and play a role in spreading the pandemic.
Your role is very important in the overall health of the society. You already collaborate to solve problems in your family, in your company, in your nationโฆ. this is ๐คat highest level i.e. level. Every small action of yours has ripple effects across whole humanity.
Itโs your own home. And it is not even world war, so your chances of getting bombed at home is nil. So think of this situation ๐.
This is important time when you could explore your own self - try your hobbies, interests, spend time with your family or take care of your health- something you never got time for in the rush of the busy life. This is an ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ - to explore something different. Believe it or not, most of our desires we have been chasing, are unnecessary and borrowed from others. Adversities like this completely change our perspective about money, health, job, family and world for the better. Then we come to know what we really need in order to create a โ๐๐๐๐ฆ life for ourselves. So grab this opportunity before it slips.
If you do see a need to socialize, do it with close knit circle of friends and family. Or go to mountain for hiking or jogging in the trail. But contributing to crowd should be strict no at this time.
Even if you get vaccinated, continue to wear masks and use sanitizer until most population gets vaccinated.

Because collective psyche of fear puts further load on healthcare system as mentioned earlier. Complete surrender to doctor creates confidence in patient and that plays an important role in healing but in pandemic, people become their own doctors and that creates lot of misconceptions about medicines, report results and recovery.
Fear and uncertainty aggravates health problem. If possible, try to get tele-help from the doctor you know. Or I suggest healthcare organizations and top doctors of the country to post some genuine take-care-at-home videos for general public to follow.
We should also spread only genuinely verified information so it becomes useful than hurting someone. Social media such as WhatsApp, Facebook are playing an instrumental role in delivering help to needed but these tools can be dangerous if the contents are based on misunderstanding, rumors and fears. It is difficult time but times like this call for ๐๐๐ ๐ก๐๐๐๐๐ก ๐๐ ๐ฆ๐๐ข๐ ๐กโ๐๐ข๐โ๐ก๐ , ๐ค๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ก๐๐๐. Remember again, every small action of yours has ripple effects for whole humanity.
