The black and white hoverbike flew out of the fog at breakneck speed and raced through the neon-lit urban jungle of the Havan metropolis. It manoeuvred steadily between the skyscrapers, trying to throw off the tail of the corporal's convoy, which was getting closer by the moment, preventing it from sneaking away with the seemingly easy-to-get Zero-G prototype. This weapon could create an anti-gravity field with a single shot and disable even the largest battle cruiser. That's why an elite squad of cyber-soldiers equipped with modified implants and gadgets was sent in pursuit not to allow them to ease off for a second.

With a sharp steering wheel jerk, Spacelunch turned off the main street and into a narrow alley. "Your turn!" – He shouted insistently over the engine's roar. Cat rose from the back seat, took aim, and deftly fired his blaster. In a pall of sparks and smoke, the pursuer's hoverbike spun out of control and crashed into the building. Gritting their teeth, the friends raced through the winding maze of obstacles and tight turns. All senses were heightened with excitement. They could see a gap ahead and a way out into the slums.

Suddenly, a heavily armed police drone blocked the road, aiming its red gun lights at them. Spacelunch decisively grabbed Cat and jumped into the so-fortunately spotted sewer manhole, barely managing to dodge the gunfire barrage. After landing in a pitch-dark narrow tunnel, they moved on, with every step feeling the growing tension in the air and realizing that they could be found out at any moment. The darkness seemed endless. The only consolation was that they had the prototype in their hands, and now all they had to do was get to the spaceship and get off this freaking planet.

The misty Citadel towered like a giant fortress woven of rusted metal and interlaced vines. Nature and technology merged in a surreal, almost living symbiosis. The heavy chords of distant machinery intertwined with the eerie echo of the jungle. The air was thick with psychedelic smog that distorted perception.

– I don't like this place...
– Cheer up, Cat! – Nomad lifted his hat slightly and smirked. – Let's focus on the search.

Suddenly, a group of mysterious creatures – Purple Buds – jumped out of the shadows. Their spiky bodies crackled with bioelectricity and emitted a strange, hypnotic glow. Nomad quickly snatched up his plasma revolver and took down two of them with precise shots. Cat, skillfully handling his rapid-fire blasters, left his enemies no chance. Fighting shoulder to shoulder, they coordinated efforts to hold back the onslaught of the attackers.

Dodging the chaos of battle, Spacelunch backed up against the wall and spotted a hidden console behind the curtain of bioluminescent plants. Plugging into its ancient mechanisms and frantically deciphering the information, he managed to discover something curious. A holographic map appeared on the console, indicating a location in one of the outskirts of the cosmic vastness.

As soon as the data download had been completed, the building shuddered, and the walls began to twist and transform. Worn down and breathing heavily, the partners hurried to their ship. The engines roared, indicating their eagerness to leave this place as soon as possible. Nomad exhaled and leaned back in his seat, "Just another day in the galaxy," he said.

The hypermarket exhibited bioengineering brilliance and cosmic craftsmanship housed under a huge crystal dome shimmering with reflections of nearby celestial bodies. This retail colossus was not just a place to shop, but a living and breathing ecosystem where even food and drink possessed intelligence and personality, turning the everyday grocery shopping trip into an adventure.

Having walked through the automated portals, visitors immediately entered a vibrant, bustling atmosphere filled with mixed aromas of diverse culinary produce, each hinting at exotic and extraordinary flavours. Pieces of cheese joked about fermentation processes and their origins. Soda cans sizzled playfully, discussing the intricacies of soft drinks and the secrets of mixology. Loaves of bread argued about baking temperatures and yeast culture. Juice packets from every fruit and vegetable imaginable told tales of distant gardens and farms, and wine bottles told stories of ancient vineyards and legendary harvests.

As Spacelunch reached for his favourite Cinerian mead, a familiar voice sounded behind him:
– Have I lived long enough to see the day when the curly-headed man who broke my nose showed up again?

The professor turned around and was surprised to see an old friend in front of him.

– Nomad? Is it really you?! What brings you here?
– As always a thirst for adventure and a desire to solve mysteries. I've heard a lot about this place and just couldn't miss the chance to see it with my own eyes. On top of that, I followed the rumours that say the key to absolute life force is hidden here.
– Absolute life force? – Spacelunch asked with obvious interest, raising an eyebrow. – Are you hunting for legendary artefacts again?
– It's an elixir created by ancient gastronomes. It provides unprecedented energy and longevity. It is said to be guarded by a powerful force. By the way, – Nomad squinted, – your bioengineering knowledge could speed up the search considerably. And remember, you owe me one.
– Not that I'm very eager, but Spacelunch always pays debts back!

With two decades of releases in the twilight of the Russian burgeoning music scene, the production duo DP-6 offer up a full-spectrum dub techno fantasy detailed with space-echoed soundscapes, bubbling synth textures and subterranean drum patterns.

Our pick from the release is ‘Water‘ – thanks to its underwater pilgrimage, reminiscent of the legendary sound of Deepchord and Maurizio. ”This EP comes with a great backstory about "the long-forgotten DP-6 / Vadim Indigo & Alexey Filin shuttlecraft of the Kwansi pirates," that is well worth finding to read while you delve into the tunes. They operate in a dubbed-out techno world that is slow motion to start with on 'Fire,' a laid-back and breezy cut with warming synths smeared from one side of the stereo field to the other. 'Air' is slightly more upright and dynamic but no less deep then 'Earth' bringing some texture and more steel-plated drums to move things on before 'Water' closes out a blissed-out vibe with light-emitting pads that bring some hope and emotional uplift.”
