FEUERWERK 2023! This year due to the happy circumstances in the family of our artistic director and piano tutor Gintaras Januševičius we decided to move the academy to March 2023. As a result of it we created our first springtime academy with new concert venues, recital formats, and musical experiences. Great news! Last months have been highly intense almost everywhere, due to post-covid concert engagements. Therefore the application deadline for submitting Videos for the 1st round of the Senior Groups has been extended until September 1st! The Results will be available on September 12th. We would like to encourage young pianists who will pass into the 2nd Round to come and perform at the Golden Hall in Riga, but of course participation by a video is also possible.

The rules of the 11th Riga International Competition for young Pianists have been published on the website! We look forward to the competition on October 15.-16. in Riga, this time at the Golden Hall of the Riga Latvian Society. The Online option is also still available in case you can't manage to come to Riga, but of course we are excited to welcome our participants in person after such a long break! Please note: the first round of Senior Groups A, B and C is by submitting a video until June 30th! https://www.rigapiano.info/
