Proud to announce that my Sandy Koufax piece has made it safely to its new home....the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown! It will be on display very soon. I started doing “this” 10 years ago next week, so this CALL TO THE HALL was a decade in the making! Thank you all for every like/share/commission you’ve given me over the last 10.....now it’s time to really put the foot on the gas!

The life of an artist.
I like to use rough-hewned cypress. My husband and I went to Conway, sawed the wood, loaded it into our truck and hauled it to our home in Murrells Inlet.
It takes me an hour to cut one piece 6x15 inch, sand it down, clean it off.
Then, for example, just to paint "Follow the Leader-Goat Island" I spend 12-13 hours. If I only charge $10 an hour...I get $120-130 for the painting. I have people tell me I should charge less to get people to buy my work.
But, I am worthy. I have been an artist for 50 years. I know I am worth more. We should all look at ourselves and say...
I am worth more. When my painting is done, I will come up with a price. Today, I was told by a family member...'Christine, your work is worth more'. To the artists of this area, remember, you are worth it.
