My sweet Gisele helping me harvest from our the other day...these tomato plants have produced long after we expected. The effort we put in at the beginning while planting was well worth the work. I am hoping that the planting season I am currently in with my little ones will do the same...produce an over abundance long after the seed has been planted. 🌱

Happy 9 months sweet Elias!!! 🎉🎊🎈As these months go by, there is a bitter sweetness to them. I’m so happy to have such a healthy baby, but I don’t want him to grow so quickly. The more he grows the more the reality sets in that this is my last baby...the last time I will nurse, the last time I will use the baby bathtub, the last time I make a baby purée and the list goes on. It’s such a strange feeling because I know it’s time to close the chapter on child-bearing. 😔🤷🏾‍♀️

Now that Eilan is five, we are officially sending our notice of intent to homeschool to our school district. It’s been a long time coming and I am experiencing a range of emotions. My approach will likely include a few different philosophies, but I am excited about the ‘s The Well Trained Mind. It’s going to give me direction on curriculum construction going forward.

These two have no idea what’s going on in the world right now. I’m so grateful to God for blessing us to care for them. I am grateful that they are sheltered and clothed. I am grateful that they are healthy and happy. I am grateful that they wake up and play and don’t know any different. This is a crazy time, but my hope is in the Lord as a parent. We can’t care for them without His help. 🙏🏾💙

So grateful that this sweet boy is now 2 months old! He actually turned 2 months old last week, but it’s been a crazy month to say the least! Elias is very alert; he’s been tracking our faces since he was a week or two old & in the NICU. He recognizes our voices and follows sounds with his head and eyes.
-He can flip from tummy to back (which shocked me the first time it happened about a month ago lol)
-He holds his head up for a few seconds at a time; especially when he wants to get a good look at who’s holding him. He can also turns his head independently.
-He’s cooing and he loves to snuggle up to mommy in his wrap.
-Loves to nurse; he loves his milk!
-And he gives us the biggest smiles right before falling asleep (every time). I don’t care if it’s just gas...it lights up my world every time! 🥰🥰🥰

Dear friends and family, our sweet Elias is here! He made his arrival some weeks early and after spending time in NICU he has been home for a couple of weeks now. 💙
After realizing something wasn’t right I went to my OB and they sent us straight to the hospital. I thought they were going to monitor us and send us home but to my surprise I was going to have an emergency c-section. I wouldn’t leave that hospital for another 5 days and my baby much longer. It was so far from what I had planned but I believe God’s plan is always better than mine.

Elias is such a warrior...he survived despite almost losing his lifeline and mommy beat the odds after having suffered from preeclampsia. I’ll be sharing our story on my YouTube channel soon. We have just been soaking in every moment with our sweet boy. Thank you for the prayers for our family. This has been a trying time for us but we feel triumphant, nonetheless. 💙 @ Tampa, Florida

This little one has been teaching me so much about myself. I was nervous about having a girl because I thought I wouldn’t measure up. I was scared that I wouldn’t be able to model what a women should be. What ended up happening instead is that my baby girl is helping me become a better version of myself... and as long as she witnesses mommy being vulnerable, honest, humble, forgiving, bold and courageous she’ll be an exceptional human being. 🙏🏾💞

Look at those faces! 😍😍😍
I was folding some clothes today and came across a shirt that is too small for Elle. I remember when I thought that shirt was way too big and would not fit for a while. Today, the shirt is way too small and needs to be given away. I was reminded how quickly time flies and how limited my perspective can be at times. One day I’ll look up and our babies will be teenagers and then adults. I don’t want to have a list of ‘should have could have and would haves’. I want to have maximized every moment with these precious lives I’ve been entrusted with. I want to have amazing memories we can look back on instead of regrets. (Even then I know I’ll still wish that they were babies 😆). So, each day, every month, every milestone, every holiday and every birthday is to be celebrated in our household...because each day with these faces is a gift from God. 💙💙💙
