Leading pianist and composer Geoffrey Fiorese has decided to build his jazz Quartet project around the myth of "Terpsichore", the muse of dance. A large amount of improvisation is left to the musicians who are thus able to react in the moment to an impulse, a feeling, like an imaginary dance that one would build continuously from impressions left by the senses.

Fredy Massamba & AKA MOON "Opus 111" recording

"Ce groove galvanisant transfigure l'expression de la mélancolie, ou plutôt la dépasse et la déplace. Un album dense aux plages longues dont les musiciens ont poussé chaque idée jusqu'au bout de son potentiel : Opus 111 est un jalon important dans le parcours discographique d'Aka Moon." 18 Monologues Elastiques [Documentaire]

“Martin Ruch and I were looking for unique recording environments to create the 18 Monologues élastiques. Attracting a range of well-known musicians from classical composers to soundscape engineers from around the world, the Berlin Funkhaus was a perfect fit for our project as the available facilities offered so many different options for us to create spectacular sounds.”

'18 monologues élastiques' by Samuel Bl**er

Samuel Bl**er’s '18 Monologues élastiques' is a personal disclaimer. The title refers to ‘Dix-neuf poèmes élastiques’ by Blaise Cendrars, an influential Swiss-born author.
Recorded by Martin Ruch at the Funkhaus on Nalepastrasse in Berlin, it is a collection of sound and surprise, seriously playful, a modernist’s answer, unrepeatable, to another puzzling question...

Release day for two major jazz projects that have been in the making for a long time! Both with a common element: trombonist Samuel Bl**er.
On ‘1291’, three generations of top Swiss jazz musicians, Daniel Humair, Samuel Bl**er and Heiri Känzig, form a new trio. From breath, strings and sticks, slides, wood and skins, an alchemy is born which, through inspiration and creativity, transforms the sound into moments of pure poetry.
’18 monologues élastiques’ is a real sound trip that shows another side of Samuel Bl**er’s musical universe. Recorded by Martin Ruch at the Funkhaus on Nalepastrasse in Berlin, this album highlights unique recording environments and a new approach: that of going out from the traditional and static set up, to capturing the sound while moving throughout the complex!

Jean-Paul Estievenart Quintet // Live @ Marni // Con Pasiòn

"The compositions were all written with the greatest emotional spontaneity, and pride of place given to improvisation. You will hear gentleness, anger, passion, joy, sadness or melancholy in them. That is why I called on Romain Pilon - Jazz Guitarist, Antoine Pierre, Nicolas Thys music, Nicola Andrioli and Logan Richardson to map out my mental world, because we share the desire to find the energy that urges us to forget our presence and let ourselves be borne along by music and not by notes."

'18 monologues élastiques' by Samuel Bl**er

Outnote Records is back on Facebook! To celebrate our return, we'd like to introduce you to Samuel Bl**er's upcoming album '18 Monologues
Élastiques". A crazy project 'for sound and trombone fetishists' as Bl**er himself puts it, which he recorded between the walls - including the toilets - of Berlin's DDR Funkhaus, the former GDR radio studio. A strange and fascinating adventure where boundaries between
sound sculpture and music are blurred.

► Pre-order the album, which will be out on August
14th: https://lnk.to/18monologueselastiquesFA
