Raise your hand, if you love chocolate! I think I have perfected my chocolate lover sourdough bread recipe. One key ingredient to making this bread amazing is the type of flour I use. @kamutbrand flour has changed my baking over the years as well as our gut health. Even my adorable mama who has celiac is able to eat everything I bake even though it has gluten. Insane right?! -Chocolate lovers sourdough recipe- It’s the same recipe I shared before only this is -step 10.5 add 3+ cups milk chocolate chips, 1/3 cup cocoa, 1/2 cup sugar. It does make it more of a sweet sourdough so it’s more of a treat which we really have enjoyed. Adjust the sweetness to your liking. Since it’s November I thought I would share just how thankful I am for @kamutbrand for making a flour my whole family can have. 🙏🏽 So blessed to have found this ancient grain when I did. Sourdough Bread Made with Kamut🥖 This recipe is for 2 loaves or 4 loaves Ingredients: 250g or 500g active starter 735g or 1470g water + 50 g or 100G of water when you add the salt 1000 g or 2000g all purpose flour (always use unbleached) (I use Kamut all purpose) 24 g or 48g sea salt Instructions: Step 1: add your active starter to a bowl Step 2: add the water Step 3: mix starter with the water till it is “milky” Step 4: add your flour Step 5: mix all together for 2-3 minutes Step 6: cover the bowl and let sit for 30 minutes Step 7: add the salt and additional water Step 8: knead the dough for about 3- 5 minutes, until water and salt are fully incorporated. Step 9: Cover again and let rest for 30 minutes.
