This month is Lung Cancer Awareness month, its very important to me. Lung cancer hit my family in 2015 when my dad was diagnosed. A chest x-ray found a spot and we were able to get him treated and now 8 years he is still with us.

My dad was a smoker, but for thousands diagnosed with lung cancer each year-they never smoked. This month's Link to Hope is very important, Lindi Long Campbell is on a mission to to educate us all on a silent killer-radon and why more and more are being diagnosed with lung cancer because of it.

November is Lung Cancer Awareness month and often the focus is on those who have smoked or are smoking, but one Lexington woman says we all have lungs, and we should all be concerned about lung cancer.In this Link to Hope meet Lindi Campbell, a woman on a mission to get you to listen.

Sarah Lister was one of the first people I met in the non profit world when I first started in Lexington and I have admired her ever since.

In 2016 she was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, endured months in the hospital and had a bone marrow transplant.

It was during that time that an idea started to bloom and eventually grew into The Zinnia Project! Check out below how you can help.
