Antony Richards Design & Production Independent Live Music Producer and Designer I am an independent Producer, Director and Designer with a focus on live music performance.

I began my production career as a coordinator at 20th Century Fox Studios in 1989, moving to a similar position at the Walt Disney Studios in 1991, where I worked until joining MTV as a Director of Event Production in 1996. From late '96 through 2001, I worked on virtually every major MTV award show and music event including the VMA's, Movie Awards, the 2001 SuperBowl Halftime show (the one withou

t a wardrobe malfuntion) and MTV's epic live 8-hour 20th Anniversary Broadcast. Since venturing out on my own in 2000, I have produced and designed a wide variety of events for Clients including USA Networks, Philips Electronics, Samsung, Nokia, Casio, Revlon, IMG, VEVO, Cipriani USA and many, many more. I focus mainly on performance events and have, over the years, staged a diverse group of artists including Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake, Maroon 5, Kanye West, Lenny Kravitz, the Pretenders, Ne-Yo, Annie Lennox, George Michael, Rihanna and Ke$ha. My design and production philosophy is simple: Focus on giving the artist a great platform for their performance, and make sure your audience gets a unique and fun perspective for the time they are in your house.
