Visum Records Visum Records was just an idea in mid 2010. By November 2010, the record label came to life after taking over management for local Flora rock band "Lost Cause."

Lost Cause performed numerous shows in Mississippi including their biggest show in Greenville, MS bringing in over 300 listeners. In January 2011, Visum Records picked up local Raymond artists Josh Thompson and Bill Staggs to form the rap group "C-4." C-4 hasn't performed any shows yet, but has recorded a 3-track, self-titled demo using Visum Records small equipment. In February 2011, Lost Cause b

roke up due to creative differences. Bassist, Braxton Cargile, and drummer, Joe Speckner, wanted to form another musical group that would be unique to anything in Mississippi. Thus the merger idea came to life. Combining Braxton and Joe with Josh and Bill to form a rock/rap group. Bringing in guitarist, Noah Arnold, the group has already had a practice and realized their dream is coming to life. Visum Records is an "all genre" label. Allowing anything from rock to rap to country. Visum doesn't have a large staff, but enough to keep the ball rolling into the future. The Visum staff consists of: Sam Fugler (COO/ Agent), Jason Duff (electronic manager/ recording engineer), Braxton Cargile (musical project manager), and Alex Scott (executive director). Visum also has a design team that allows them to prepare for the future with new projects and scouting new bands in Mississippi. The label was designed to help promote and bring out more musicians in Mississippi.
