The most awaited event that everyone, especially kids, have missed will finally resume after years of being in pandemic. In this coming December 10, 2023 at exactly 3pm, the TGSMC Children Ministry will hold a talent market where the students of Sunday School Ministry will be able to buy some toys, school supplies, and even clothes using the talent points they have earned by attending our Sunday School Ministry.

Good day everyone!

Join us as we celebrate English Month on November 20 – 24, 2023 with a theme of “English as a Global Language: Bridging Cultures, Connecting the World.” With that, we prepared a lot of fun and exciting activities that all students can participate in for free.

Bible Verse Competition (Elementary Students)
-Students will be given a list of Bible Verses that they should memorize. The difficulty of these Bible Verses will be adjusted depending on their grade level. On the day of the competition, they will answer a test regarding the bible verses given to them. The student with the highest points would be awarded “The Best in Memory Verse”.

Poster Making Competition (Elementary and Highschool Students)
-Poster Making Competition showcases the artistic talents of the students. The judges will give them a specific theme and the students will use their creativity to create a wonderful poster that matches it. They will be given 2 hours to do the poster on a 1/8 Illustration Board. Just be reminded, please BRING YOUR OWN MATERIALS.

Story Telling Competition (Elementary Students)
-In this competition, students will show their exemplary skills in storytelling. They will choose a memorized story and it will be performed in front of the audience and the judges. The story should be in the English language and follow the themes of fantasy or adventure.

Spelling Bee (Elementary and Highschool Students)
-For the spelling bee, the proctors will give a word to the student and he/she should give the correct spelling of the given word. The student who has the highest points will be awarded as “The Spelling Bee Champion.”

Quiz Bee (Elementary and Highschool Students)
-Quiz Bee is a group competition. Students who want to participate in this event need to register their names before the day of the event. They will be grouped according to their skills and capabilities. The proctors will give them questions and they should provide the proper answer to get a point. The group with the highest points will be awarded as the champion after the event.

Singing Competition (Elementary Students)
For the singing competition, the student who wants to participate can freely choose the song that he/she would like to sing. The students will be evaluated by the judges and they will perform on the final day of the event.

Essay Writing (High School Students)
-For Essay writing, students should write down a proper and complete essay that would match the theme given by the proctors. They can compose their own essay within 2 hours. The essay that will get the highest points from the proctors will be declared as the champion.

Declamation (High School Students)
-For students who wish to participate in the Declamation Contest, students are free to choose their own piece that they’ll present in front of the judges and the audience. The 2 highest-ranking students will present their piece on the final day of the event. Costumes are optional but it will definitely help the presentation of the chosen piece.

Poetry Slam (High School Students)
-Poetry Slam allows the students to showcase their artistic side through their well-crafted poems. The proctors will give them a theme and the students are free to write their own poems within an hour and present it in front of the proctors. The student with the highest points will be awarded as the champion of the event on the final day.

Good Day, Students!

This Friday, October 27, 2023, we will celebrate our United Nations with a theme of “EQUALITY, JUSTICE, and FREEDOM for all.” This event commemorates the unity and peace between the nations despite the international challenges that each nation all over the world faces. Let’s honor the diverse cultures of different countries and discover the answer that every country needs.

On Friday, October 27, 2023, our parade will start at exactly 7:00 AM. All students, from Nursery to Grade 10, are included in this parade.
Afterward, the Grades 3 – 10 are advised to go home and return at exactly 3:00 PM for their own Program.
The program for Nursery to Grade 2 students would start at 9:00 AM so after the parade, they are advised to remain at the school.
Please be guided by these announcements and let’s enjoy this wonderful event.
