Cinema receives KDMs so allow encrupted content to play. This KDM typically arrives via Email. And many use Gmail.

Gmail has announced the change in it's authentication policy that will come into effect soon. This change may interrupt the flow of KDMs. This video explains what's going on and how to avoid the potential loss of sessions due to this change. This change will affect automated KDM delivery systems and likely block them from working.

Recently DCI, a organization made of the major studios, released a video explaining what they see as the next level of peak and minimum brightness for theatrical presentation. Like domestic TV has moved to HDR, this is the ignition of theatrical cinema moving to its next level of picture quality.

In this video I demonstrate how I use Google Trend to help me, as a small cinema owners, choose the right movie to show when there are so many new moves and not enough sessions to show them all.

A cinema owner must make some hard decisions. Which film to skip and which to put effort behind.

Google Trends can help by giving us a glimpse at the popularity of a film and what films are likely to bring people out.
