OUT NOW: “Perolo” by Lesky, Waywell & MAS.
Listen & download: https://melting-pot-music.lnk.to/peroloFB
‘’Perolo is Portuguese slang for pearl I stumbled upon the internet once. Just like ebb and flow transporting oysters to beaches, this one came together through a constant push and pull between MAS, Waywell and me. Starting more modern trap influenced, the groove slowly became more organic, we doubled the guitar line with bass and I forced MAS to play further behind the beat then he intended. Waywell topped it off with some signature slides. Between our sessions, we explored Tbilisi together’’ - LESKY

"When you think of 'Antidote' what comes to mind? The medication that your doctor prescribes, maybe the process of getting to a peaceful mind state or perhaps spiritual healing through discovery?
This project has not been created to confine you, but to allow you to find your own healing in your own way. Thank you to all my fans for all your support thus far 💙
I'd like to send a special shout out to @melting_pot_music for believing in my vision and helping to get it to this point. Last but not least, a VERY special shout out to my family Odi Kgosana and Reatile Mopeli for constantly listening to my ideas and being my compass on this journey ❤️"

"My first single „Amsterdam Nights“ is finally coming out this month.
I am so happy for that in the end it all makes so much sense - the long struggle, the (happy)tears, the isolation, the togetherness.
Hopefully you will join me on my journey 🧡

OUT NOW: "Will They Try" by Isatta Sheriff & Koralle! Link above.
Isatta and Koralle are back from playing the MPM Label Nights in Hamburg, Cologne and Berlin (next to FloFilz, Twit One, KeepVibesNear, Harvey Whyte, and Mind The Blue), just in time to release their new single "Will They Try".
"This is the most important track on the EP as it addresses the exploitation of Black women in hip hop, and the exploration of hip hop in general.
We have started to talk about the countless Black female singers and songwriters in dance and hip hop music who go uncredited in the U.K, and I wanted extend the conversation Black female rappers and explore the racial politics and misogynoir connected to this.
People often ask the same questions regarding women’s position in hip hop, and I ask 'will they try to understand' the full scope of the problem and then DO something, because the conversation is stuck and needs to progress." - Isatta Sheriff
Isatta Sherrif & Koralle - "Eat The Kiwi Skin" (LP/Digital) drops on Sept 23rd. Pre-Order LP now via link above.
Additional trumpet by Giovanni Tamburini.
