Dassen Island, off South Africa’s west coast, was one of the few places in the world where penguins and rabbits interacted on a daily basis. Both species nested and bred in burrows dug into the sandy island soil. I made this photograph in the early 2000s, and this scene no longer exists today. African penguin numbers declined dramatically, due to a lack of their preferred fish prey, caused by overfishing and changes in oceanography.

When I started my meditation practice I was taken by the Mantra, “Sat Nam”. Something about those words held a great power for me.

I found out that in the ancient Sikh language called Gurmukhi, Sat means truth and Nam means name. Together, Sat Nam essentially translates into something deeper: “I am truth,” or “Truth is my essence.” I Am truth!!!!💥💥💥 Wwoooooow!! I am. You are. We are.

Sam Nam is about calling forth and expressing your true identity without holding back the greatness of the frequency you bring. Not only for yourself but for others too.

I love this word. I even thought about using it as a name for one of my kids 🤣🤣 But imagine if SAT NAM was your name?? You‘d never be able to forget that meaning, “I AM truth”. So say YES to your own truth! To everything you know deeply about who you are. For the courage it takes to be more of yourself!

"Believe it or not," some people have come forward to return some of the $175,000 that fell out of the back of an armored truck Tuesday night in Georgia, authorities say. The Dunwoody Police Department wrote on Facebook: "While we certainly understand the temptation, it’s still theft and the money should be returned." Amazingly, no one was hurt. Police are urging cash-seeking motorists to steer clear of the area, as all the cash has been cleaned up: "THERE IS NO MORE MONEY! Please stop."

“During the annual rutting season, red deer shed the 'velvet' on their antlers to get ready to fight for a mate. Some believe that the itching from the velvet falling away makes the deer rub their antlers on trees or in foliage which is how some of it will often be found stuck in their antlers.
