86 Eighty-six
This is a really good mecha anime… and I normally don’t like mecka.
The basic premiss of this anime: there are people called the eighty-six who are forced by the government to fight in a war. Everyone looks done on the eight-six as things that aren’t humans. Despise this, a girl named Lena wants to help them and sees them as equals. She helps the main group of eighty-six in the anime try to survive in this battle by occasionally going against her orders and rules.
I know it sounds kind of boring but the way the story is being told is very well done and the animation is pretty good. I was hooked on episode 3 so give it a shot and see if you end up liking it.
It has 11 episodes for season 1 and a season 2 that is airing right now. It has both sub and dub for those who are wondering.
