*Kwara Gov announces boards for seven agencies*

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has approved the appointments of board members for seven government parastatals in the state.

The boards are the Kwara Road Maintenance Agency; Kwara Signage Agency; Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Programme (RUWASSA); Rural Electrification; College of Arabic and Islamic Legal Studies (CAILS); Kwara Environmental Agency (KWEPA); and the Arts and Culture.

The board of KWARMA comprises Rufai Bolakale Oloje (Chairman); Aliyu Tunji Ajanaku (member); Jumoke Deborah Kayode (member); and Mohammed Sakiwa (member).

Members of the the Signage Agency’s board are Engineer Taiye Hassan (Chairman); Kamaldeen Oleshin (member); Mahmud Abdullahi Buko (member); Comfort Aweda (member); and Hafsat Mobolohunduro (member).

Engineer Mumini Yusuf is the chairman RUWASSA. Other members are Yusuf Ababatu Usman; Engineer AbdulKareem Zakari; Jamila Aliyu Semo; Mrs Grace Adepoju; and Israel Gana.

The Board of the Rural Electrification comprises Abiodun Kadir (chairman); Alake Laaro (member); Saliu Otubu (member); Hon Mohammed Baba (member); Mr Marcus Olayemi (member) and Hanna Amos Patizoru (member).

Renowned academic Professor Lanre Badmus is named the chairman of CAILS while Zainab Haruna, Abdullateef Adebara, Hajia Falilat Olatundun Toyin, Barakat Atusise, and Lawal Hussain are members.

The KWEPA board members are Hon. Paul Zhiru Tsowa (chairman); Saadu Hauwawu Ajoke; Mumini Alada; Kudirat Isa Alagogo; and Nicholas Agbo Ola Salami.

The art and culture board comprises Sulaiman Idris Halidu (chairman); Sulaiman Legbo Issah; Jamiu Moyosore; Rahmatu Abdulmalik; Adeoti Oluwatosin Janet; and Christiana Foluke Olatunji.

We sympathized on the demise of *ALH. AMINU ADISA LOGUN* , Kwara State Chief of Staff who ALLAH take closed to his self. The demise of chief of staff would never leave Kwara state's heart for those who knew him, especially people like us, we knew him as a very simple man, humble, and straightforward person.

This is a great loss to his Excellency, *Alh. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq* , the executive Governor of Kwara State, and the entire people of Kwara State at large.

May Almighty Allah forgive him, grant him Aljanah firdaus and, give his family the fortitude to bear the loss.

A Border Screening & Fumigating Team comprising Police, Civil Defense, KWARTMA, Health Personnel etc with Corona Virus Testing Kits and Fumigating Machine & materials should be drafted to d Borders of Kwara, most especially to Erin Ile Areas which is the border of Osun & Kwara, Eruku, Border of Kogi & Kwara, Ekan Meje/Aiyedun, Border of Ekiti & Kwara, Jebba, Border of Niger & Kwara State,
Since we have not recorded anyCase of Corona Virus with the help of God in Kwara state, the Team should be Screening & Fumigating people coming to Kwara State either with Leg, Motorcycle, Keke Maruwa, Trailers, Taxi, Buses etc.
Preventive Measures put in place by the State Government is not enough though commendable please
This will further curtail the spread of this virus from our neighboring States already infected with this Corona Virus. Let us pass this information and suggestion to the Appropriate Authority please and continue to beg our Government to consider this our suggestion please .
Trailers, Buses, Private car were also bringing people in from Lagos, Osun, Ekiti, Kogi and Niger State everyday since the beginning of this Partial State Lockdown either early in the morning or anytime after 6pm till following morning,
Our Government can also call for Volunteers that will support them in this Borders Screening and Fumigating Exercise. God help Kwara State. And Nigeria at large.

In defeat of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in the just concluded Patigi Constituency Kwara State House of Assembly seat by-election, the above named association has congratulated the KWHA member elect, Hon. Adam Ahmed Rufai for his victory.

In a congratulatory message signed by Suleiman Legbo Isah, Dada Tsaragi, AFMAN State Chairman wished him success as he will represent his people at the Kwara State House of Assembly. He lauded the people of Patigi constituency for their efforts so far aimed at defending democracy at the by-election.
