Vogue For Virtue 2024

Queensbay Mall's multiple Award-winning Iconic project "V" - Vogue For Virtue is back.

The Vogue For Virtue event isn't just about fashion, the annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme is to inspire youth and assist those in need with fundraising through Fashion & Fun!

The iconic event is back to make fashion charitable and it comprises of two major elements - 1 being the month-long Model Search which began from 25 May 2024 and the other is the Charity Fashion Show with Celebrities which took place on 6 July 2024 at the mall's Central Atrium.

This year, all monies collected from the Model's Search Registration Fees are donated to selected beneficiaries and since it's the year of Olympics 2024, the mall has chosen sport related beneficiaries : Persatuan Sukan dan Rekreasi Orang Kurang Upaya Negeri Pulau Pinang (PESRON), Persatuan Sukan Orang Pekak Pulau Pinang, and Persatuan Olimpiks Khas Pulau Pinang. Each organization received a donation of RM9,000, totaling RM27,000 in donations.

Present at the event was Yang Berhormat Tuan Daniel Gooi Penang State EXCO for Youth, Sports and Health, Mr. Peter Chan, General Manager, Mall Management and Ms. Lee Sue Ling, Centre Manager, Queensbay Mall.

The mall's Vogue for Virtue has been a hit over the years, with positive support from the fashion retailers as well as the top home-grown inspiring celebrities.

While many returning year after year, the mall has introduced new faces that graced the runway on the Charity Fashion Show with Celebrities and be role models to all the aspiring fashion models.
