I just learned this...interesting : ) The Yezidi people are a Kurdish religious minority with a unique cultural and religious tradition that dates back thousands of years. They believe in a pantheon of divine beings, and their religious practices incorporate elements of pre-Islamic and Zoroastrian beliefs, as well as Sufi and Christian influences.

One aspect of Yezidi culture is the concept of "malakha," which are often depicted as female beings associated with the stars. These beings are believed to have knowledge and power related to the interpretation of signs and symbols, as well as the ability to travel through the astral realm.

In Yezidi tradition, malakha are sometimes referred to as "angels," although their depiction and beliefs surrounding them differ significantly from those in the Abrahamic religions. They are believed to have specific roles and responsibilities, and some are associated with certain stars or constellations.

Yezidi tradition holds that the knowledge and power of the malakha can be accessed through spiritual practices such as meditation, prayer, and astral projection. This concept of astral projection involves the ability to travel beyond the physical body and explore other realms of existence, including the astral plane.

Overall, the concept of malakha and astral projection in Yezidi culture highlights the importance of spiritual knowledge and practices in their religious beliefs and traditions.
