PWA TCR FUN EVENT
Da es noch bisschen Zeit bis zur unseren Endurance World Challenge ist, haben wir uns überlegt ein kleines TCR Event zu veranstalten 🙂

so to start off, here are the cars that will have the v6 tires for 2015 S3: HPD, Aston DBR9, C6R, Ford GT GT3 and GT2, BMW Z4, McLaren MP4-12C, Ruf Track, Cadillac CTSVR, Mustang, MX5, Solstice, Ruf AWD and RWD, RT2000, Legends

iRacing: New V6 Tire Model changes: drivability, tire degradation, and vehicle response
Greg: Yes on graphical changs, switching to a new lighting system, debuting with the Aston Martin, new Legends, and the Corvette so far
Day and Night transitions are due after DX11 is implemented - Tony

On the Nurburgring: the GP and Nordschelife will be $14.95 each. (regular price) If you own both, you can also drive the combined.
New Surface model to be released by the end of the year
Mercedes due next year, we're already working on it

Daytona Prototype is in development, one of the two 2 cars to come out

Heute sind noch mehrere Starts zum legendären Daytona 500 bei iRacing. Das Daytona Rennen ist der Start der Nascar iRacing Series. Wer Interesse hat kann hier nochmal alle wichtigen Infos zu den heutigen Rennen nachlesen:

Fixed Series qualify
Saturday 10:45*
Saturday 17:45*

Fixed Series race
Saturday 11:00*
Saturday 18:00*

Race distance: Approximately half the distance of the real world race. Several races will be full length including the Daytona 500, Charlotte 600, Michigan (June), Brickyard, Watkins Glen, Talladega (October) and Homestead races.

iRacing member eligibility: Oval license level D4.0 class and above are eligible. This will be an oval license class series even though several of the races will be held on road courses.

Resets: No resets

Server farms: US Servers only

Qualifying: Single car 2-lap qualifier 15 minutes before each race; qualifying is not required to enter the race. Qualifying times from first race of the race week carries to subsequent races, unless you post a better time in a later qualifying session.

Lucky Dog rule: The iRacing Lucky Dog rule will be in effect

Incident limits: 22 max incidents

Race Warmup time: 10 minutes

Field size: 32 cars max

Caution flags: Full course cautions on ovals and local yellows on road courses.

Hier mal die Release Notes für heute:
Chevrolet SS-Gen6

- The 2013 Chevrolet NASCAR is now available!

- Note that there is a small bug in this release that can cause the roof flaps on your opponent cars who are parked in pit lane to flap up and down if you're out driving around the track. This will be fixed in our next release in a week or two.

Graphics

- Fix a problem that could cause shadows to sparkle.

Spotter

- Upon of a frequency to your radio, do not "select" that frequency if you don't have rights to squawk on it.

Windows 8 Support

- Scale touch and cursor moves properly when screen DPI setting is changed.

- Turn off touch screen contact visualization.

- Properly detect touch windows, so we can turn off touch driving controls when using the mouse.

- Properly change mouse cursor without forcing a pointer move.

So ein Club internes Rennen soll her. Daher wären Vorschläge hier gerne gesehen. Ich denke man sollte da ein Road und ein Oval rennen veranstalten. Damit für jeden was dabei ist.
