Composing for Picture A walk and talk podcast about film music! It now runs as a weekly podcast show on Mixcloud.

Originally founded as "The Film Score", "Composing for Picture" made its airwaves debut on CamFM, Cambridge's student radio station in May 2012. Each week's show is based on a theme, highlighting different genres, films, composers, actors, directors and awards. Also look out for the Cantina of Film Music News for a roundup of the most important film music stories and upcoming albums.

We've rebooted Composing for Picture in a brand new format! The first two episodes of Spotting Notes are out now and available from whever you like to get your podcasts!

A walk and talk about film music! Johannes takes you along as he wanders to interesting places, talks new soundtracks releases, digs up classics and hidden gems, ponders the state of the industry, tackles tough subjects, and occasionally chats to guests about their love of movie music.

It's happening!

Quick show update for you guys: I've been distracted mostly by work, so I've decided to move to a new schedule of one episode every two weeks. I will try and get a Christmas-themed episode to you for this Tuesday and then return in the new year. Thank you for bearing with and for tuning in.
