We back on again in 20 mins! This week we have an Australia & New Zealand special. Get your wallets at the ready!

This morning get ready for another episode of AGA Radio at 11am on SYS TV.

Welcome back one and all to another episode of AGA Radio over on SYS TV! This one’s been on my list to do for a while, and now seemed like the perfect time to pay proper tribute to the amazing peeps over at Stimulate Your Soul and honour some of the insanely talented music-makers from their neck of the woods. Anyone who even remotely knows about the current state of the music scene is well aware that something special has been brewing down-under for quite some time, and now the world is reaping the benefits. So, in this episode we’re going to have some superbly soulful sounds from the likes of Jordan Rakei, Kaiit, Chet Faker (aka Nick Murphy), and Hiatus Kaiyote. In addition to those immensely artistic individuals there's also a whole heap of other goodies from Lord Echo, Mildlife, S*x On Toast, The Avalanches, and many, many more. Shout out to all the listeners, music lovers, artists, labels, DJ’s, etc. Anyone who keeps on pushing the culture forward.

Blown away doesn’t even come close to cutting it. Big love to both Stimulate Your Soul & Pharcyde TV for helping me share all these great tracks, and even bigger love to all the artists/musicians/producers/etc. who’s music I had the privilege of playing.

I started AGA Radio just shy of a year ago. My intention then was the same as it is now, to connect with like-minded musical souls and share the all the tunes I spend the majority of my wages on. Safe to say, that has definitely happened. I've learnt more about the musical culture I strive to be a part of over the last 12 months than I had in all my previous years. Plus, I've had the privilege of sharing hundreds of beautiful pieces of sonic art with you fine people. I'm more than elated to move AGA over to Stimulate Your Soul's new channel on The Pharcyde TV, and to be able to continue this journey of musical exploration. I thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart for making it so I haven't just been talking to myself this past year. Here's to the future!

Music For Your Soul

AGA (Ars Gratia Artis) Radio started as a grass roots, DIY podcast created and recorded in my very own living room. However, through the power of music and with the help of some very kind individuals, we are now broadcasting though the interwebs via The Pharcyde TV for SYS TV!

I started collecting records about 5 years ago, and have been infatuated with music in all forms from a relatively early age. My musical education is for the most part self-taught, with pivotal lessons coming from legendary taste-makers/curators such as man like Gilles Peterson, Lefto, Kutmah, Bradley Zero, and DJ Gilla. I also owe a lot to certain online musical entities/blogs such as Stamp The Wax, Twistedsoul, Music Is My Sanctuary, Stimulate Your Soul and everyone else who keeps pushing those sounds that never quite seem to pe*****te the mainstream.

Once I hit my late teens I really threw myself headfirst into music. I started to dig deeper, intent on finding the stuff that was hidden behind the hoards of one-hit-wonders, novelty acts, and mainstream puppets. In doing so I began to amass a quite a wealth of knowledge and love for the sonic arts, and (after many encouraging words) decided to create an outlet in order to share my music collection with the world.

My hopes are to create a community of like-minded music lovers. Individuals such as myself, those whose love for the groove knows no bounds. Remember music is love, and love is everywhere, sometimes you just have to look a bit harder.
