Nature Scene Records started as an artist led cooperative in 2010. A home for the weird/wonderful outcasts of the music scene in Ljubljana, London and beyond.

It now encompasses a recording studio, production team and a base for streaming live sessions.

What a great looking and sounding album, from the back of Where the spirit rests, a lonelier masked up Covid journey to a full collaborative effort!.. not a single solo guitar in sight. Too many collaborators to list, check the liner notes ;)

It’s almost a ten anniversary of Yila & friends album ‘Souvenir’ so what better way to buck the trend and do it on nine. Pulled from streaming platforms in a self harm moralistic statement it now returns to Spotify et al.

‘M Antarei,' out now. This immersive work, spatialised in Dolby Atmos AND presented in binaural sound, is inspired by the dance performance 'Meals I Already Cooked' by Vita Osojnik at . Created with evolving noises from materials like plastic bags and stone grinders, it morphs these sounds into a 3D soundscape, breaking the fourth wall and engaging audiences in a powerful sensory experience.

Out now 🎶 Boštjan Simon, renowned for his contributions to jazz and electroacoustic genres, unveils his debut solo album, “Fermented Reality.” 🚀 The album explores the fusion of acoustic and electronic sounds from saxophone and modular synthesiser. 🎛️
Building on Jackie McLean’s idea that “Saxophone is a drum,” Simon emphasises the percussive aspect, amplifying key clanks and experimenting with an interactive module, Octosense. 🥁 Resulting in a unique interplay of sounds, showcasing the saxophone’s transformation through anaerobic and creative fermentation. 🌬️🎨
