"Oh I couldn't do what you do because I'm not ______."

You don't have to be a SAHM to have a side gig.

You don't have to be a working mom to have a side gig.

You don't have to be a Mom (or even a woman for that matter) to have a side gig.

You don't have to be struggling financially to have a side gig.

You don't have to have a bunch of free time to have a side gig.

You don't have to already be successful to have a side gig.

You don't have to be an "influencer" or have any followers to have a side gig.

You don't have to be a certain age to do have a side gig.. (OK at least 18 but you get my point😅)

You don't have to be able to take the perfect picture, video or even travel to have a side gig.

You don't even have to feel ready or totally confident. MOST of us didn't.

You don't have to be a certain ANYTHING and be successful.

You just need to have the want to do it and allow us to teach, empower, and believe in you like all of our leaders and this community did for us.

Welcome everyone! Who is the The Newfie Affililate..

I'm Kimberly from the small most eastern province of Canada - The beautiful Newfoundland Labrador, just a regular 50 plus woman who went looking for more in life...

How did I end up here? On social media, a quiet, shy woman who would not even take pictures of herself, let alone do videos, lives, etc....Because my WHY is bigger than my FEAR!

In 2019, I turned the big 5.0. It was a real eyeopener to where I was in life and what I expected from this chapter of my life..... This is where my journey into the online digital business world started.

I invested in a high end, high commission global business, yes I got results, but not as quite as what I wanted or expected, for 4 year I learned, watched, listened and grew - personally, emotionally and most of all confidentially.

In September of 2023 a thyroid cancer diagnosis, surgerys, test, etc got me thinking about the future once again, was myself and my spouse in position to retire, 55 was right around the corner, were we ready? NO! Did we have our debt paid off? NO! Could we retire this year? NO!

So we pivoted...... (and that's OK, the plan you started with can change at any time.)

I was scrolling aimlessly on TicTok, yes, you read that right, TikTok LOL, you get lost in there right....

I came across a few former business ladies from the previous business, who have stated affiliate marketing, and was finding great success financially with the system they were using.

We chatted and I was introduced to a free access opportunity to try out the system, have a look around, get into their FB community, interact with others and learn the interesting world of affiliate marketing... I LOVED IT!

If you lack discipline, read this POST.

1. Define a clear goal.
Without a clear goal it is hard to define exactly what you want. Your mind doesn’t need an invitation to procrastinate. Begin to visualise what it is you really want. Writing down your goal will help to bring it into reality.

2. Establish a clear plan.
You may know what it is you want but if you don’t know how to achieve it, the chances are, you will fail. Outline a plan that breaks down each individual step you will need to attain your goal. Small steps lead to big changes.

3. Strengthen your self confidence.
One thing the successful in society all have in common is self confidence. You need to develop the mindset that you are good enough to achieve what you set out to, otherwise why even try ? You can do this.

4. Build habits.
Habits make life 10x easier. The more you have to think about what you’re doing the greater chance that your mind will start to wonder. Systems and habits remove the guessing and give you a clear step by step process to follow.

5. Evaluate your time.
You often hear people say “I don’t have time” when in reality they go to work then spend the rest of their night mindlessly scrolling. Plan out your day, there is enough time to enjoy yourself while also getting the important tasks done.

6. Start small.
Often when you lack discipline, it is down to thinking that you have to do it all at once. Learn to break down tasks into manageable pieces. You’ll find that you get more done and be pleasantly surprised at how much more enjoyable it is.

7. Look after yourself
Strong mental and physical health will aid in your battle to destroy a lack of self discipline. Develop a positive self talk process as well as making sure you eat well and exercise on a regular basis. Movement will help clear your mind.

8. Hold yourself accountable.
You can always ask friends or family to hold you accountable but what happens when they are not there ? Developing self accountability puts you together
