Most of our boyfriend-girlfriend years were constrained by distance and time as both of us were tied up with our respective jobs; it was never easy. To make our vacation worthwhile, we made sure we explore new places/spots wherever we are. From 1996 – 2000, we concentrated discovering The Philippines (where I was based) and Hong Kong (where he was based) 6x a year (we alternate
ly visit each other every 2 months). After we got married in 2001, I moved to Hong Kong and that’s when we started our beautiful discoveries of LIFE and our WORLD as a whole. We managed to convince each other to incorporate the 2 to make our journey more fun and fulfilling. When I was young, I often stay late in the library to get lost over the huge Atlas… I was studying closely the map, the shape of the countries and wondering what are the things I can see from there, what kind of people the country has, what kind of food they eat… the imagination goes very far and wide. And before I close the book, I always wish to see the world one day – that wish came true before I blow my 40th candle last year. Junvie, on the other hand, loves to dare and unleash his physical competencies. At young age, he was very competitive in his biking. His passion of riding bikes was rediscovered early 2013. While we plan and wait for our next travel and adventure to kick in, we spend most of our weekends in the mountain trails of Hong Kong – biking, running and hiking. If Junvie goes mountain biking with his buddies, I explore the nooks and crannies of Hong Kong digging for treasures… as you know, Hong Kong is one of shopping havens in the world! What to Expect
• Experiences, unique experiences – we love to travel our way. I do the research and organization of travel documents, schedules and itinerary. We avoid what is considered typical. We shun the word “tourist” in our journey. We highly regard first hand interaction with local people; having a few words and lots of good laughs because we don’t understand each other – the barrier breaks down and that’s the experience we always opt to bring home.
• Travel photos – this is a great way of expressing and sharing the experiences acquired from broad travels around the world. Photography is mandatory to display the icons, arts and visual cultures of the world.
• Tips – anything about our travel experiences and life as a whole.
• How To – this will come in bullet points for procedures and steps pertaining to visa, hotels and airlines deals and activities.

• Gastronomic Exploration – because we know that the best way to understand people is through their food. Mombee Dombee Wanderwall will be our little place to share with you our discoveries, experiences and tips.
