Floyd Green, MP for South West St. Elizabeth, shared this video on his official Twitter page showing the aftermath of Beryl on Holland Bamboo, with the caption:
"When I drove through Holland Bamboo, my heart broke a million times."
Holland Bamboo One of the most photographed locations on the island is a 4-kilometre stretch of bamboo-shaded grove located in Lacovia, St. Elizabeth.
The grove is a heritage site dating back to the mid-1700s and purportedly provided shade to slaves and plantation owners.
