Bias in the media? Imagine what the media would do if Elon Musk / SpaceX stranded astronauts in space for weeks?

•They'd be calling for investigations
•They'd be calling for SpaceX to be shut down
•They'd be calling for Elon to be eviscerated by congress

So, The Maldives just banned Israelis.

Pro-h@mas supporters are hailing this as a "moral victory".

So let's talk about The Maldives.

•Homosexuality is illegal
•Being Q***r is "punishable by death"
•Public displays of affection are illegal
•There is no law against beating women
•The president, ministers, parliamentarians, & chiefs of the atolls must be Sunni Muslims

So.
If you're a Sunni Muslim dude you might like it there.
Everyone else in The Maldives is f😔ed.

Now here's the shocker.

The horrors of life in The Maldives, are the same horrors suffered by everyone who lives under extreme Islamic "law".

You've head of "Qu**rs For Palestine".

Ever thought about why you've never heard of "Muslims For Qu**rs"?

So instead of vacationing in the racist, fascist, women, Jew, and Q***r h@ting Maldives, why not try Hawaii.

You'll learn more from the farmer who wrote this 👇🏻 sign than you will from getting a Harvard marketing MBA.
(If you're open rejecting the premise.)

(And maybe some unlearning. 😎)

Let's break it down:

Sheep Yogurt
POPSICLES
$4 Each

The sign markets the category, not the brand.

(No brand on sign)

You have to think Sheep Yogurt POPSICLES sound cool, before you ever care who makes them.

Small business owners (who feed families) learn this.
Fast.

They have an intimate relationship with what drives revenue and what does not.

They become intuitive category designers, or they don't eat.

Popsicles are the mega category (top of hierarchy).

The words "Sheep Yogurt" modify the mega category (popsicles) to tell us that this is a different category of popsicle.

In this case, three existing categories (again) merge to create a new one:

Sheep's Milk

Yogurt

Popsicles

Category Designers are masters at "Languaging,” the strategic use of language to change thinking.

That's why three simple words on a sandwich board stop us in our tracks.

The sign (in the walkway) interrupts our normal shopping motion.

The farmer category designer is doing high ROI marketing in a community where Superconsumers of premium farm products hang out.

The category name creates interest and immediately makes us say, "Huh? ….Never heard of that before. Let's try one!"

Category designers know how to stand out with different.

The sign says “$4 Each”, telling us the value.

The average popsicle is $0.50.

Selling one for $4 is a 7x increase! Category Designers use price not just to make money but to establish new categories of value. In this case, the seller is clearly communicating,

"This is a different, premium popsicle category."

The sign says "←", telling us where to investigate.

We buy the product.
Taste it.
And realize it's legendary (yummy "Vanilla Maple").

Then, we discover that the brand is "Garden Variety Cheese Brand" from Royal Oaks, California.

The combination of a cool different category + a legendary product makes us buy more and tell our friends (WOM).

And that’s why a “Sheep Yogurt Popsicle” category designer knows more about marketing than (many) MBAs.

"Consider Malak Afaneh, a law student at the University of California, Berkeley, and Craig Birckhead-Morton, a senior at Yale.

Ms. Afaneh went viral this month for disrupting a dinner at Dean Erwin Chemerinsky’s home.

This week the Yale Daily News reported that Mr. Birckhead-Morton had been arrested for trespassing—and then re-emerged to address an anti-Israel crowd blocking an intersection in New Haven.

Ms. Afaneh and Mr. Birckhead-Morton have both been “youth fellows” of the U.S. Campaign for Palestinian Rights, whose website identifies them by their first names.

As of April 4, the campaign was soliciting applications for a new cohort, whose “campus-based fellows” would receive stipends of $2,880 to $3,360 for three-month terms of roughly eight hours of work a week.

That “work” could include aiding campaigns that “demand federal or state politicians cut US military, financial, or diplomatic ties with Israel.”

The corporate entity behind these fellowships is Education for Just Peace in the Middle East."

Meet Yaron Shay 👇🏻👀 At 21, on Oct 7th he was serving in an elite Israeli troupe. When unleashed.

Massively out-gunned.
Yaron and two others.
Saved the lives of 100s of women, men, children and babies. People hamas would otherwise destroy.
They held back countless terrorists.

They knew.
With out them.
Everyone in the Kibbutz would die.

Holding fast through an un-relenting fire fight.
They stopped hamas in their tracks.
Called for reinforcements.
And saved the community.

That day.
Yaron Shay gave his life.
So countless others could live.
