Last year we launched ZZK Records / Zizek Club presents in Los Angeles with 3 shows featuring artists from Colombia, Mexico, Argentina and the USA. We teamed up with some amazing venues to showcase Latin American music which deserves to be celebrated. For our last show, we invited Los Gaiteros de San Jacinto - one of the longest running cumbia bands in the world! - to showcase their music on a Monday night at Lodge Room Highland Park . Buyepongo and THE GASLAMP KILLER supported with killer sets and what transpired was nothing short of an epic dance party with bodies swaying and sweating till the last song. 2024 has us planning to bring more Latin American shows, music and culture to LA. Wait till you hear what we have planned next!

We launched our quarterly mixer on at 1010WineandEvents in Inglewood.

Community members and affordable housing advocates came together to hear about the heart work our Policy & Advocacy team is doing to make housing affordable in South Los Angeles' communities of color and arm our people with the knowledge and resources they need to remain housed.

Later, intimate and rich dialogue among our collective led to insights, experiences, and passion that fueled a conversation beyond problems — it was about finding practical, actionable solutions. We discovered each other's heart and vision for community.

Hear from our Executive Director Derek Steele and check out the magical moments that warmed us. Then, join us in making a meaningful impact on the lives of those who need it most.
