Tough start to President's Day, 2022. It would appear that Russia and the USA are moving in the right direction, concerning Ukraine, but some believe that it could be risky for the POTUS.

By agreeing in principle to a summit with Russia's Vladimir Putin, President Joe Biden is reaching for a signature foreign policy win, but accepting massive political and strategic risks that could easily backfire.

Olympic controversy strikes again! And it's Russia.... again!

According to USA TODAY, Russian women's figure skater, Kamila Valieva, has presented with a positive doping test within 2 months of the Winter Olympics 2022, and the Court of Arbitration for Sports has published its decision to allow her to continue to compete and possibly take home the gold medal in women's figure skating, one of the most sought after awards of the games.

What are your thoughts? Is two months enough time to waive penalties and allow athletes to compete, even though they know the rules, or should we be more indignant that the games are tainted by possible cheating?

Russia’s Kamila Valieva, who tested positive for a performance-enhancing drug less than two months ago, will be allowed to keep competing in Beijing.

Eileen Gu. Born in America. Olympic Skier

Jake Chelios. Born in America. Olympic Hockey Player

Jiaying Zhou. Born in Vancouver, British Columbia. Olympic / NHL Hockey Player

What do all of these athletes have in common? They are participating in the 2022 Winter Olympics hosted by China, and they are playing FOR China.

What are your thoughts about nationality and the Olympics? Does it sting to learn that the United States has cultivated athletes to participate in The Games only to have those same athletes compete as opponents of the United States or is this be something that we promote? How deep do your family ties go to the country of your ancestors?

Tell us your thoughts! Join the conversation, we would love to hear from you!

Episode 29.1 on Just Josh Wednesday. Tune into Right of Passage Podcast to Join the Conversation. Who knew what when? This is the question we ask as we review the ex*****on of the operation to evacuate 2,500 troops and 17,000 contractors from Afghanistan.
President Biden claims that the August 31st deadline to leave Afghanistan was put in place to protect American lives. However, with the loss of 13 service members, the withdrawal from Afghanistan leaves us with questions as to the responsibility for the decision to withdraw in such a fashion.
Generals Milley, McKenzie, and Clarke provide insight into the decision to leave and the risks involved.

This week we answer listener questions and deep dive into Rep. Cori Bush's actions over the past week. From sleeping on the Capitol steps to defunding the police, Rep. Cori Bush has embroiled herself in controversy this week. Furthermore, the Biden Administration's extension of the eviction moratorium is already known to be unconstitutional, yet the President saw fit to extend the policy. Does this set a dangerous administrative precedent?

We also cover the tale of four governors: Gov. Andrew Cuomo (NY) has been accused of sexually harassing eleven women over a period of seven years; Govs. Ron DeSantis (FL) and Greg Abbot (TX) take criticism for their COVID-19 policies; and Gov. Gavin Newsom (CA) is being recalled for his policies over the past two years.

Additionally, we wrap up our conversation on the Olympics as the games come to a close this past Sunday.
