"It is not God’s job to follow you, it is your job to follow Him! When you do, it will cost you, change you, and challenge you. Sometimes you will go through valleys, other times you will stand with Him on the mountaintop. Must be willing to follow!" - Todd Horne
Todd Horne lives in Southern California, is a long-time magazine publisher, syndicated columnist, content marketer and he loves footbal
l, racing, and being a Dad - not necessarily in that order. Todd is a proud member of Crossroads Christian Church in Corona, CA. After a 6-year career at Primedia where Todd was the Publisher of 27 different magazines including Truckin' Magazine, Sport Truck, Off Road, Car Audio & Electronics, and the COO of GR8RIDE.com, Todd founded TEN - The Enthusiast Network, in 2001. Todd served seven years as the CEO and Managing Partner for The Enthusiast Network. TEN, which at the time had grown to be the largest Enthusiast Network of Content, Community and Commerce websites in the USA with more than 5 million members and 450 chapters in all 50 states, was sold in 2008 after it was named the 5th Fastest Growing Media Company in the United States by INC Magazine (2007). After two years as the Publisher of Racer Magazine where Horne launched Racer.com and also ran the Custom Publishing Division, Todd started DerDiZ Media, Inc. specializes in Digital Publishing, using proprietary digital publishing technology, award-winning design and GUI-creation, and more than 30 years combined experience in specialty publishing and digital convergence expertise, to service and manage the digital operations for a number of well-known media brands, publishing companies, associations, video production companies, manufacturers and B-to-B and B-to-C retailers. Todd has published more than 40 different magazine titles, 70-plus books, and ghost-written more than 60 books in print and digital, and he was a founding board member of the Internet Advertising Bureau. The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) empowers the media and marketing industries to thrive in the digital economy. It is comprised of more than 650 leading media and technology companies that are responsible for selling, delivering, and optimizing digital advertising or marketing campaigns. Together, they account for 86 percent of online advertising in the United States. Founded in 1996, the IAB is headquartered in New York City. Todd is married to Ashley Hanks Horne - an award-winning graphic designer and photographer who also hails from Louisiana and grew up in the 'Big Easy' (New Orleans), graduated from LSU, and claims to have been to an LSU football game "maybe twice." Todd and Ashley have one child, Avery (who is beautiful and brilliant) and one cat, MoMo, who talks and thinks he's a person. Todd also has a California Fence Lizard named Louie who Ashley and Avery don't claim and who MoMo wants to eat. Todd was born and raised in South Louisiana, received a BA in Journalism-News Editorial from Louisiana State University's Manship School of Mass Communications, and is convinced that Tiger Stadium on a Saturday Night in the Fall is the happiest place on Earth, provided you're an LSU fan. Todd attributes his love for all things Journalism and writing-related to his high school journalism teacher, Anne Clanton Chandler, who, Todd says, back in the day, was named "PJ."
