Hermes House Press was founded in 2009 with the publication of PEACE. PAWS: The Art of Being Kind, a whimsical art book to benefit the work of the Atlanta Humane Society. Since then, our list of books has slowly grown to include multicultural publications such as Una Experiencia by Teresa Glass Connaker and our latest release India Self Portrait: An artful anthology of Indian life in past and pres

ent, which spans nearly three decades. As a boutique publisher of books that encourage people of all ages to think beyond the status quo, it is our mission to provide readers with rich visual experiences that inspire, inform and educate in unique and powerfully meaningful ways. In October 2017, Hermes House Press will release another unique publication that promises to introduce a new approach to letting go of—and holding onto—thoughts.

In 1989, Tenpa—an 18-year-old Tibetan refugee living in Dharamsala, India—wrote about his life in exile for India Self Portrait: An artful anthology of Indian life in past and present (www.hermeshousepress.com pages 80-82). After nearly three decades, Hermes House Press caught up with him in Canada, happily married and a proud father. A prolific writer then—and now—Tenpa recently had a collection of his beautiful poems published by Pig Mountain Publishing House (Between Dawn and the Birth of a Song). His story, and more, will appear in the second edition of India Self Portrait: An artful anthology of Indian life in past and present - coming Summer 2018.
