Thoughts- Do you think they were “influenced” by Cavelcante’s escape? As in, if they saw that DC was able to evade Law enforcement for 2 weeks, that they may think them being 9 kids, they think they could possibly do it as well?

He said on multiple occasions law enforcement officers almost stepped on him, [that] we were only five or six feet away," Clark said."

A convicted murderer who had eluded capture for nearly two weeks after escaping from a Pennsylvania prison was apparently planning to flee to Canada.

From 12:45-1am it was very heavy scanner activity. Woke me and the fiance up. Sounded promising!

Chatter is very quiet this evening.

As of 10pm tonight,
-0 confirmed sightings today.

-A few possible sightings this evening but nothing confirmed or concrete.

-There has been a large amount of circulation of rumours of a backpack being located, but I cannot personally confirm as I have not heard on scanner or seen official confirmation.

-Large amount of calls to 911 due to storm mostly this evening.

Will continue to update if anything comes up!

Owen & J Roberts (School district in perimeter) has announced another closure for tomorrow.

Based on our conversations with state and local law enforcement, we have made the decision to close all schools and offices in our district tomorrow, September 13.

Update 10:24am :
Relief units are being placed in for exhausted officers.

Major Take Aways From Press Conference This Morning:
-Official confirmation that he does indeed have the firearm.
-No evidence that he is injured from shooting
-No change in their mindset as they saw him as dangerous from the start
-Homes are not being evacuated at this time.
-Officers injury was not directly related to the search
-It is a larger perimeter than before. 8-10 square miles estimated.
-Dogs are in use, as well as tactical teams.
-It is not believed that he surveilled the homeowner with the firearm that he broke into. The garage door was opener. SPP believes it was a crime of opportunity.
-500 officers estimated, more on the way and others relieved to rest.
-The homeowner did indeed call 9-11 quickly & several shots were fired.
-Cavalcante stole a pair of boots, confirmed.
-Residents in the perimeter can leave their homes, with assistance of the PSP.
