Using some electroluminescent wire to create a little psychedelic background texture on the set of a music video for Dagha (Dwayne Simmons). Dwayne is not only an internationally accomplished hip hop artist but he is also the Director of Strategic initiatives for Boston SCORES, a non profit that helps inner city youth through team based programs that promote health and well being, academic engagement, and civic leadership. This video was made as part of a pilot program that we are partnering on in order to create more opportunities for kids to learn about filmmaking, music making, and fashion design.

Black Lives Matter

The last few weeks have come with a heavy heart as the senseless murders of unarmed black people by white officers has unveiled the dark reality of our current state that is in desperate need for justice and a unified nation.

Certain media outlets have portrayed protests as the problem rather than the savage police brutality and scare tactics put in place by local police and the national guard.

Through educating ourselves, participating in peaceful protests, illuminating the injustices, and advocating for change, Vessel is committed to uplifting the voices of black, indigenous, and people of color. We stand with you in solidarity and fight to dismantle white supremacy.

Boston Area Mask Initiative

The Boston Area Mask Initiative has distributed over 17,000 masks and they have over 45,000 requests in. If you know of anyone that might be able to lend a hand please spread the word. 25% of the masks have gone directly to agencies working with the homeless population in the Boston area.
