Fixing sound distortion. One thing I have learned from Amateur Radio is RFI. One easy solution is to add a Ferrite Coke/bead. Wire that we use as audio feed put off energy. it also absorbs frequency radiation from everywhere in the atmosphere. Even light bulbs do. Pick up a pack of FerriteFilters. Another smart thing to do is ground your equipment. It too will help to reduce RFI.

This week I am going too create a new position in movie production. It is called, “The Movie Set Wrangler”. The job description will: 1. Organize the script of the day. 2. Record each take for the scene. 3. Check off the take chosen by the Director. 4. Collect everything and place it in a notebook. That includes the script, the take sheet, memory cards for that day. Label the tab. 5. Sign the take page. 6. Place the notebook in the hands of the Producer.
The Director should record: 1. The equipment for the shoot. 2. The lighting crew. 3. The Sound crew. 4. Photographer. 5. DP 6. Grips. 6. Legal Rep 7. Pictures of all Actors
Signature of the Director.
List of investors on set that day.
Memory cards should be downloaded to 2 hard drives. Place one in the hands of the editor. The editor will download the footage and return it to the Director for the next shooting day. A copy of the script and take sheet will be handed too the editor as well.
The notebook will be kept in a secured place protected from the elements and prying eyes.
I will assemble a notebook and show you later.

Number one in video production is sound. I recommend the TASCAM. It has 4 channels and can record on it's own as well as feeding the sound to the camera. In this project it is feeding a Canon C-100.

My advice to YouTubers, Don't talk about yourself in the beginning. wait till the end. Again show the end product first. Don't add music unless it is yours or a friend. The viewer probably has his or her own anyway. Talk as little as possible if you are working on a how too project. The viewer is concentrating on what you are doing. Speed up repetitious material. The viewer may do it anyway. Take care!

Tips I think that make good YouTube videos
1. Show the finish project first.
2. Don't talk about yourself ... get right to the project.
3. Many projects don't need any words or music.
4. Speed the video through repetitive moves or skip it.
