Jason La Confora reports that the 49ers have "effectively completed" a deal for Alex Smith. It can't be finalized until new league year begins on MArch 12th. So, where's he going?

Going to watch the foot work of the Offensive Linemen at the combine in a little bit. That alone will go a long way towards how the draft will fall.
